 Kate (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is the master chef at a trendy restaurant; after her sister is killed in a car accident, Kate takes care of her daughter.While she is trying to cope with this family tragedy, her boss hires a new chef to join the staff – his name is Nick, he is sociable and joyous. Kate begins to feel threatened by Nick because she believes that he claims to take her place as the chef of the restaurant. The movie shows how the relationship of the main characters change when they learn each other better and how Nick helps Kate to build relations with her orphaned niece - Zoe. The Sound of Music  The events in the movie take place before World War II in Austria. A young girl Maria who lost her parents becomes a postulant in an abbey and prepares herself to become a nun. However, owing to her cheerful temper, it’s a very hard task for her and the prioress understands that this is not the way for her young novice. Finally, the girl is offered the position of a governess in the family of an Army officer and a patriot who recently widowed and stayed with seven children. Upon arrival at his estate, Maria sees that she is not the first governess in this family and that the head of the family is unsociable, cold-hearted and quarrelsome, and his children are unhappy and shy and let no one become close with them grieving for their mother and suffering from the cold temper of their father. However, Maria succeeds in finding common language with the children and she also understands that she has fallen in love with the officer and he is not indifferent to her, too. But once, after one of the journeys to Vienna, he returns to the castle with another woman whom he introduces as his fiancée. In the meantime, the Fascist Germany occupies Austria without a single gunshot … Chocolate  One winter day a young woman Vianne comes to a tranquil French village. In a short while she opens an unusual chocolate shop offering her visitors to experience a new pleasure. Really, having crossed the threshold of her shop, people surrender to the sweet seduction again and again. The secret is that Vianne in some mysterious way guesses their wishes. And they come true! However, it was not until the gypsy called Roux came to the town that Vianne could understand her own wishes… |
